Why does the app show a different state than the widget or Watch?

The app itself can show the newest local state as soon as it is opened. Widgets, Watch views and complications are updated through iOS and watchOS refresh mechanisms and may lag behind for a short time.

If something looks outdated, open LongTimer on the iPhone and then open the Watch app or wait for the next system refresh.
